Know the differences between previewing and publishing a publication.
When you are done working on your catalogue and think it's ready for others to experience, you have 3 different options to share it.
The first option is to "Publish this variant".
When pressing "Publish" you publish your publication to your website. This means that your publication is now active and your publication will now be accessible in the destination you selected in the beginning.
If you want to roll out changes you make in the catalogue, while its live, also use the “Publish” button
To create publication preview link, to show colleagues, click on the down-arrow next to “Publish” in the top menu, and choose “Preview Link”. The browser will automatically open your preview URL.
"Preview on site" is our newest addition to the live-editor. This gives you the opportunity to view the catalogue on a AVIOU test-site on your own website. This also gives you the opportunity to test if everything is working as i should, including the add-to-basket integration.
