Creating your first AVIOU publication

Follow this small guide and create your first publication.

 

In the “publications” menu, all catalogues can be accessed. You can also create new ones.

To create a new catalogue, click “+ ADD NEW PUBLICATION"

1. Fill in title of the catalogue, choose feed (feed is list of products with their titles, descriptions and images, one client can have several feeds, for example summer and winter collection)
2. Choose theme (there is always default theme, but you can create new one. You can have several themes)
3. “Expiration date” defines when the publication will cease to update from feed and auto-publish. We highly recommend you filling this in, and in case your publication is not planned to expire, simply select a date in the far future.
4. Under “Publishing” you select your destination, and where the catalogue can be accessed. AVIOU can host your publication, but we recommend embedding it into your website.
5. Click on “Add new Publication” to finalize and create your new catalogue.

 

Go back to the “Publications” menu to find your new catalogue.                               

The down-arrow allows for options to delete, duplicate, view or adjust the settings you selected.

Click “edit” on the publication and you will enter “editor mode”, where you can create your catalogue.
